Due to the complex monitoring environment, when making cabling and networking, it is usual to encounter the problem of inadequate network transmission distance, the distance of each camera terminal to the monitoring center is different, some are only a few meters, some are a hundred meters, while others are more than kilometers. Tenda TEF11 series PoE monitoring switches, exclusive patent network extension technology, use the common existing twisted pair, can support 250 meters data transmission, break the transmission limit of the existing twisted pair only for one hundred meters; Providing gigabit linked SFP port, can meet the demand of transmission to a few tens of kilometers. In real monitoring projects, cameras are often installed outdoor or in a higher position, which also increases the probability of lightning shock toward the cameras and PoE switches. Therefore, some of the equipment may be damaged and even the whole local area network (LAN) may be paralyzed. Tenda TEF11 series switches have a professional lightning protection design – 6kV port and power supply thunder prevent.
